The face behind the candles

Hi my names Hayley and I’m the face behind the candles. D’Ann Creatives was born in 2018 as an outlet for my creativity and love for vintage shopping. Fast forward 4 years and our bespoke candle business is going from strength to strength (All whilst working full time as a Kindergarten teacher). I absolutely love what we do with our candles and love bringing something different to the candle market. With our large range of bespoke glassware and fragrances, we have a candle that suits everyone.

Our story | Inspired by my mum Denise Anne 

My mum was a single parent, and the strongest and smartest woman I’ve ever known. Her free spirit and love for op shopping is where my love for all things vintage came from. Back in 2018 D’Ann Creatives was born, an artistic outlet for me and a way for me to continue doing something my mum loved…. hunting for vintage!

My mum showed me that anything is possible with hard work, dedication, and most importantly, a positive attitude. I ensure our beautiful candles reflect these values by hand pouring with love and being unique. We are also proud to be a small company and value having personal relationships with our customers, adding that true NZ made touch!

What makes us special? 

There are hundreds of candles out on the market, but what makes us unique are our small hand crafted batches. I am the sole face behind the brand, hand picking every piece of glassware and transforming them into special pieces for your home. 

Our candles are also known for their amazing scent throw, and we ensure all our candles have maximum scent load to fill your space with  lingering scent long after the flame goes out.
